Bio: Founder and President of TPC, is a retired Engineer who moved to Murrells Inlet in 2003. He is a former Regional Coordinator for the Myrtle Beach Region of the Carolinas' Nature Photographers Association. His interests are photography and post processing. He works with fellow photographers to help them develop their skills in photography and to be comfortable with their images through the post processing workflow. His camera is a Fuji.

Jackie Hoelscher - Secretary

Bio: as Secretary of the Keep Georgetown Beautiful Board, wants to showcase this area as the “most beautiful in the state.” She finds being with other photographers to be rewarding and has an interest in researching things to see and photograph in this area. She shoots with a Canon.

Bio: Treasurer and Membership Chair, Linda developed an interest in photography after she retired from teaching high school English. She is a “Nikon person” who particularly enjoys photojournalism and street photography. She likes to meet with members to build critiquing skills so that all can move toward reaching their goals as photographers.

Fred Giese - Liaison to the Presentation Committee

Bio: joined Tidelands Photography Club after moving to this area in 2015. He has been involved in fostering photography for beginners by teaching the basics, and setting up a program which put advanced photographers together with several beginners for mentoring. Fred also has experience as a judge in photo competitions.

Lynne Brock

Bio: After retiring from Coastal Carolina University after 26 years of service, Lynne joined TPC in 2015. She began her love of photographing nature while being an avid hiker, carrying her first 35 mm camera, a Canon AE-1. Lynne is an active volunteer at Brookgreen Gardens and continues her passion for the outdoors while photographing the beauty and diversity of the Lowcountry.

David Fattaleh - Publicity and Programs Chair

Bio: Having come from a family owned photofinishing business, David has been in photography most of his life. He started his photographic career as a wedding, portrait, and school photographer. His career expanded when he was hired as the Photography Manager for the West Virginia Division of Tourism. There he had the privilege of photographing beautiful landscapes, wildlife, natural wonders, state parks, and historical areas of West Virginia. David’s photographic career,
in West Virginia, also included being part of the photographic team for the Governor’s Office.
As a freelance photographer, his clientele included hospitals, local businesses, national and local magazine publishers, industrial and commercial photography.
David’s work has been shown in many publications, such as; Time-Life Books, Newsweek, National Geographic Adventure, Louisville Magazine, Huntington Quarterly Magazine, Marshall Magazine, Wonderful West Virginia Magazine, and others throughout the United States and abroad.
David has taught photography classes and workshops throughout West Virginia state parks and at the Huntington Museum of Art. He has conducted presentations at local high schools, photography clubs, city and state conventions, and business luncheons. After his retirement from his West Virginia career in 2009, David now resides in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. David has presented at the Seacoast Artist Gallery, Hobcaw Barony, Myrtle Beach Camera Club, Tidelands and CNPA Camera Clubs here in South Carolina.

Bio: the administrator of the TPC Website, retired from education as the Library Media Specialist in an Arkansas high school after having taught elementary school, art and reading. Until Sandra picked up a camera for the first time, she says, “I did not actually see all the beauty that surrounds us.” She applies her media experience and her creativity in photography to TPC as well as many other arts and crafts. Her camera is a Canon.
